The event begins 7pm, on November 14th at Miradoro Restaurant at Tinhorn Creek. Tickets are $25 plus HST each and are available at the Oliver Visitor Centre, Royal LePage South Country or online at eventbrite.ca. Included in the ticket price are 2 tastings, food and entertainment. Extra tasting tickets are available for $1 each. The Rosé Revolution started in Australia and is becoming a global movement. We will be sipping rosé wine from the Oliver Osoyoos Winery Association (OOWA) and other wineries from across BC. Tasty appetizers will be created to pair perfectly with rosé by Chef Jeff Van Geest. There will be a people’s choice competition to choose a favorite OOWA rosé. Guests will enjoy the wonderful sounds of live entertainment, a little wine education and have lots of fun socializing. The conversation will be leaving the room on Twitter interacting with other rosé lovers from around the world using the twitter hash tag #RoseRev. A live scrolling screen will give up to the second Twitter updates. This year’s event has been sponsored by Miradoro Restaurant at Tinhorn Creek, The Oliver Osoyoos Winery Association, BC Food and Wine trails and Eat Magazine. A pick up and drop off shuttle service will be available in Oliver and Osoyoos for $10 per person. If you are interested please give your name and phone number when you purchase your tickets at one of the local points of sale.
