7th Uncork Your Palate to take place April 30, 2014

Victoria, BC —The 7^th Uncork Your Palate fundraiser takes place April 30^th at the Crystal Garden. “It’s one of Victoria’s most popular events; people from all  over the island, the  lower mainland and Washington look forward to it”, said Cynthia Funnell, Director of Marketing and Communications at the Victoria Conservatory of Music.

The event brings together the love of live music, wine and food for a variety of enthusiasts. Event attendees will sample from an exclusive spring release portfolio of wines Naramata Bench wineries. Guests will also samples light bites from Victoria’s finest restaurants and help celebrate the 50^th Anniversary of the Victoria Conservatory of Music.

Presented at Victoria’s elegant Crystal Garden, Uncork Your Palate is an exciting wine, food and musical experience which raises funds for the Victoria Conservatory of Music. Net proceeds go to support VCM music education, music performance and community music outreach.

“This year’s event promises to be extra special in celebration of our 50^th year,” added Funnell.

The Wineries: The Naramata Bench Wineries Association is a group of twenty four award‐winning wineries nestled along a fourteen kilometer country road overlooking Okanagan Lake.
