In early September 2012, four women put together “White Dinner Kelowna” based on the ever increasingly popular Diner En Blanc. Almost 200 people gathered on the shores of Okanagan Lake, dressed in white, where they unpacked picnic baskets loaded with fresh, local food and wine from the culinary Valley of the Okanagan. This was the inaugural event and if reviews are to be believed … it’s the first of a long tradition of outdoor dining celebrating the best of food and wine.
