Made by Chalk Hill Wines, this wine takes the Wits End name in North America to avoid confusion with the California winery of the same name. This vintage just hit North America, and while the blend changes annually, it is always Cabernet Franc dominant. The new 2008 vintage is Cab Franc and Cab Sauv and this juicy young fruit is set to be drunk now. One quick turn of the screw cap and you’ve ripe blackcurrants and raspberries, bright cherry, earth, tobacco leaf and smoke.
