This bottle of Blanc de Noir caught my eye, and not just because of the striking label (though their whole packaging program is pretty great). One of the newer Fraser Valley wineries, Neck of the Woods uses both estate and Okanagan grapes for their wines. This particular bottle was the first estate bottled sparkling from the Fraser Valley appellation, and is 100% Pinot Noir. Large, frothy mousse, crisp lime-lemon, Granny Smith apple and a medium body in this exuberant bubble. Creamy white peach notes remain after the glass is but a memory. Albacore tuna salad would make a fine match.Rating: (click here to see what our wine ratings mean)EATrecommendsNeck of the Woods Winery Blanc de Noir Brut NVThis particular bottle was the first estate bottled sparkling from the Fraser Valley appellation, and is 100% Pinot Noir.
