Photo by Deanna LadretTen dollar pizzas? It’s not frozen, it’s Fiamo! For the third year in a row, Fiamo is offering all of their Artisan Pizzas at ten dollars each, Sundays through Thursdays throughout the month of March. And no, Executive Chef James Avila reassures, they aren’t skimping on toppings or ingredients either. In fact, Avila sees it as an opportunity to draw business during a traditionally sluggish month, while at the same time ‘giving back’ to their regular patrons. “It’s also a chance for families who might not have a lot of money to be able to dine out,” he explains, “Two kids can share a pizza, that works out to five bucks each.” A pillar of their regular menu, Fiamo’s pies are all made-to-order from their signature house-made twice-baked dough, cooked in their vintage Italian pizza oven. The 9 pizzas range from the classic Margherita and best-selling Sicilian (Italian sausage, feta, semi-dry tomato, and Pepperoncini), to the west-coast Smoked Salmon (red pepper, onion confit, roasted garlic & brie) or BC Prawn. At a regular price of $14-$17 each, the value is too good to pass up; your savings on the pizza will pay for that extra glass of on-tap Prosecco! Hours: Sunday-Thursday 4:00pm-12:00am, Friday & Saturday 4:00pm-1:00am.$10 Pizzas available for eat-in only, Sunday to Thursday until March 31.
