Join in and bring awareness to our beautiful beaches with great food, craft beer, music, and cider.A percentage of proceeds from this event will be donated to the Vancouver Island Surfrider Foundation. Surfrider Foundation is a collective focusing on ways of protecting and preserving our coastline for future generations. Volunteers run this organization, with a mission to protect our enjoyment of oceans, waves and beaches.Save the Beach Party will take place on Friday February 6th, 2015. Start time is approximately 7:30pm.It’s an indoor event located in the Victoria Public Market at the Hudson, providing an intimate, fun and urban experience for both event attendees and participating sponsors.It will feature the following:• 1 main stage: kicking off the night with one of the Island’s most talented DJ’s courtesy of Wolf Sheep followed by an epic show by The Boom Booms – an Indie Soul band from Vancouver, BC.• Beer courtesy of Hoyne Brewing• Food produced by Roast’s kitchen team• Cider from Tod Creek Cidery• Surf films projected all evening• Complimentary Hoyne glass upon entry• Silent Auction items donated by our sponsors $50 ticket will get patrons 2 beer sample tickets and 2 food tickets.
