Victoria Beer Week Announces 2019 Schedule

Ticket Launch Party to be held at Victoria’s newest brewery, Île Sauvage Brewing, on Tuesday, December 11 from 5:30pm – 7:30pm.


Victoria Beer Week will return March 1-9, 2019. The festival celebrating Victoria’s craft beer culture includes a mix of 12 events over 9 days, including some favourites from past years along with some bold new twists. The week opens with Lift Off! on March 1 and closes with Saturday Night Casks on March 9, both at the Victoria Public Market. New VBW venues this year include the Moon Under Water Brewpub and LURE Restaurant & Bar. (See the next page for the full schedule.)

Tickets for this 6th annual event will go on sale on Tuesday, December 11 at 10:00am online at ticketrocket.co, in person at Ticket Rocket (1050 Meares Street) or over the phone at 250-590-6291 or toll-free at 1-855-842-7575.


VBW will celebrate the ticket launch with a special event at Île Sauvage Brewing (2960 Bridge Street) on Tuesday, December 11 from 5:30-7:30pm. The Ticket Launch Party is open to the public — those in attendance can enjoy a complimentary beer and snacks provided by Pizzeria Prima Strada, as well as the chance to enter a draw to win a pair of tickets to the opening night event, Lift Off! on Friday, March 1, or tickets to the Victoria HarbourCats (courtesy of Ticket Rocket).

Early Pricing in December

VBW is offering a $5 Early Pricing discount on most of its tickets until December 31, 2018. Needless to say, VBW tickets make a great Christmas gift or stocking stuffer. Gift certificates are also available for purchase through Ticket Rocket.

Expanded Beer School Program to be announced in January

VBW is also planning an expansion of its Beer School program with nightly classes
throughout the week. The full schedule will be announced in January, 2019.
